What we offer for Petrolheads

Les Ballastières is not just bike friendly, but welcomes all 4-wheelers.

Facilities include:

  • Secure courtyard
  • Small workshop with compressor, battery tester/charger, trolley jack etc
  • Drying room
  • Large games room with kitchenette
  • BBQ in courtyard
  • Site mechanic! Paul may be able to help fix a problem
  • Indoor camping in The Hayloft

GENERAL INFORMATION

The local race track at Croix en Ternois is only 5 minutes away and there are many car events, including meetings for:

  • Lotus
  • Alpine
  • Porsche
  • Karting

Driving in the area: There are many scenic routes on open roads in this part of Northern France. You can stop off to admire the view, visit an abbey or one of the many WW1 sites – or simply have something to eat and drink. We will be happy to help with your itinerary. Driving in FranceThe following are obligatory:

  • Hi Vis vest/jacket (to be kept in the car, not the boot)
  • Red warning triangle
  • ALL car documents (not photocopies)
  • Driving Licence
  • Keep to the right (it happens!)
  • Especially be aware of the rule “Priority to the right”, particularly in towns and small villages

Also recommended: Recovery insurance & health insurance
